Timothy Ochs: Hello
Such a man indeed. I've never had the pleasure of meeting Norman, but have corresponded with him on and off over the years. My exceptional father, Tom Ochs, served with Norman and Norm shared some of his experiences with my dad in his story. After the war, my father eventually settled down, married and had 8 children. He died in 1992, never spoke much about the war (only bits and pieces and only here and there) and Bing's willingness to share his experience have added texture to a part of my Dad's life I knew little about.

Such a man!! The Christmas after he came home from WW!! he donned a Santa Suit and came to our house with a big bag of toys -- all for me. I remember commenting to him that my Uncle Norman had shoes just like his (Santa). Uncle Norman sat me on his lap and, when I asked him why he had that thing under his nose (mustashe), he said the Army had dirty cookies and he nneeded it to dust them off before eating them.
Such a man!!

Lee: Congratulations
Norm,
Great job here. Of course, the story is very familiar to me,isn't it ?
I think you should let the Museum people know that this is available. Once again I am so happy to see our fathers in there too.
